Porcelain pendant shades are made by mixing paper and porcelain clay. In the firing process the paper burns out leaving a delicate, translucent structure; which suffuses any room with a warm glow.
These pendants have been inlaid with a variety of different textures and colours: The large pendant shade has been inlaid with gingko leaves; the medium pendant shade has been inlaid with lavender and had flecks of glaze stain painted on; the small pendant shade has been inlaid with Italian star pasta..
