The Desert Island Lamp was inspired by the Robinson Crusoe Story. I was thinking about the stormy sea tossing Robinson onto the beach and the palm leaves and beach debris flying around in the storm.
Colour of porcelain lamps may vary slightly from the image shown. There is a natural variation as different environments effect the light levels emitted through the porcelain.
