Exhibition with The Sussex Guild

This October Liz will be exhibiting her newest collection of lamps inspired by Gingko leaves alongside 50 other Sussex Guild Members at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on sea.
Quality handmade crafts under one roof in this iconic modernist building from 1935. Beautiful sea views and a great café to hang out in with friends - come along and make a day of it!

Christmas Gifts ~
Make something in porcelain with your favourite flowers to give as a gift
Saturday 8th & 15th November 2025
11am & 2pm
An opportunity to make something special from the Liz Emtage Porcelain Collection. No previous experience necessary.
Have fun making a Porcelain gift for yourself or someone special in your life. Would you like to have a go at making one of Liz's porcelain pieces to give as a gift this Christmas? Learn basic handbuiding and pressing techinques.
On Saturday 8th November you will make your porcelain piece using Liz’s porcelain clay and learning her techniques. You can bring your favourite seasonal textures and flowers to press into the clay, or help yourself from a selection provided.
On Saturday 15th November you will come back and glaze your piece using a wide selection of glaze colours and learning Liz's glazing techniques. Your glazed piece will then be fired again. All finished pieces will be ready for collection before Christmas.
Fun for children and adults alike (children need to be accompanied by an adult). Come on your own or book with a group of friends. No previous experience necessary.
All materials are included in the cost. Each class on each day will be around 2 - 3 hours long depending on what you would like to make. All pieces will be ready for collection before Christmas.
Class starts at 11am & 2pm
The cost starts at £110 to make a Vase / Night light / Cover pot / 2 Tiles / Porcelain picture / 4 Coasters / 2 Soap Dishes / Sushi dish / Frame / Mobile stand or something of your own design. To make your own Lamp or Pendant shade the prices start at £210.
